Inviting Busybee & Permissions

Ensure Busybee has the necessary access to manage your server's support system effectively.

Overview

For Busybee to create channels, manage permissions, and generate transcripts, it requires specific Discord permissions. Without these, you may encounter errors during ticket creation or dashboard configuration.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. [Invite the Bot]: Use the official invite link provided by your administrator.
  2. [Grant Administrator (Recommended)]: For the simplest setup, grant Busybee the Administrator permission. This ensures it can always create channels and manage permissions.
  3. [Manual Permissions (Advanced)]: If you prefer not to use Administrator, ensure the following are enabled:
    • Manage Channels: To create and delete ticket channels.
    • Manage Roles: To adjust permissions for staff and users in ticket channels.
    • View Channels: To see the channels it needs to manage.
    • Send Messages: To post the ticket panel and welcome messages.
    • Embed Links: To display the dashboard and ticket embeds correctly.
    • Attach Files: To send ticket transcripts.
    • Read Message History: To generate transcripts.
