Adding the Bot

You need Manage Server (or to be the owner) in the Discord server you're adding Ticket Nexus to.

Add it from the dashboard

1. Open the web dashboard and sign in with Discord.
2. Find your server in the list and click Add to server.
3. Discord opens its invite screen with your server already selected. Keep the permissions ticked and click Authorize.
4. Back on the dashboard, your server now shows Manage.

Always add the bot with the Add to server button. It registers your server first. If you use an invite link from somewhere else, the bot won't recognise your server and will leave straight away.

Permissions the bot needs

The invite asks for these, and the bot needs them wherever tickets are created:

• Manage Channels — to create and delete ticket channels.
• Create Private Threads and Send Messages in Threads — only for departments that use thread tickets.
• View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History.
