Main Configuration
BusyTab keeps every setting in one file: plugins/BusyTab/config.yml. Run /busytab reload
after editing it. No restart is needed for anything on this page.

refresh-interval
yaml
refresh-interval: 5s
Accepts seconds (5s) or ticks (100t). A plain number is read as ticks. The minimum is one
tick. A value BusyTab can't read logs a warning and uses 5s.
Every refresh rebuilds the header, footer, name and nametag for every online player, and runs every placeholder in them. Lower values look more live but cost more. See the Performance Guide.
The default file

Missing keys and updates
BusyTab never rewrites your config.yml. A key that is missing uses the default from the table
above, with two differences from the shipped file:
- A missing
tablist-name-formatfalls back to%player_name%. - A missing
afk-tagfalls back to nothing.
When an update adds a setting, add the key yourself if you want to change it.
YAML tips
- Wrap text in single quotes:
'&7Welcome'. An unquoted line that starts with&or%is not valid YAML. - To put a single quote inside single-quoted text, write it twice:
'Steve''s server'. - Leading and trailing spaces only survive inside quotes, which matters for
afk-tag,nametag.prefixandnametag.suffix.
