BusyMining disables itself on startup
If the console shows Failed to initialize database. Disabling plugin..., the database connection
failed. With MySQL, check host, port, database, username and password in config.yml,
and that the schema exists. With SQLite, check that the server can write to plugins/BusyMining/.
The error above that line says which. Fix it and restart; /mine reload doesn't reconnect.
A module shows as off in the startup summary
Modules 13/14 enabled (off: vessel) means that module is either set to false under modules: in
config.yml, or it failed to load. A failed module prints Failed to enable module: <name> with an
error. The most common cause is invalid YAML in that module's config.yml.
Players earn nothing from mining
Work through these:
- They're in survival or adventure, not creative.
- They're holding a pickaxe, and it doesn't have Silk Touch.
- The world isn't listed in
Settings.DisabledWorlds(modules/core/config.yml). - The block is listed under
Zeta.Amounts/MiningLevels.Amounts, or contains a listed name. - No protection plugin is cancelling the break.
- Their data has loaded. For a moment after joining, menus say still loading.
"Vault not found! Economy features will be limited."
Vault or an economy plugin isn't installed, or the economy registered with Vault after BusyMining
loaded. The Mine Shop then pays with the commands under UseCommandSelling in
modules/economy/config.yml. Install Vault and an economy plugin, or make sure those commands
exist on your server. The warning repeats on every /mine reload while Vault is missing. See
Vault.
/shop (or another shortcut) opens a different plugin
Another plugin registered the same command. Use /mine shop, or /busymining:shop. The same goes
for /mine itself: /busymining:mine always reaches BusyMining.
A summon doesn't work
- Nothing happens: the player is holding the wrong item or clicking the wrong block. Rune Guardians
need Rune Dust on
Runes.SummonBlock; Oracles need Charged Oracleite onOracles.SummonBlock. - Custom mobs are disabled in this world: the world is in
Settings.DisableCustomMobWorlds. - The guardian can't spawn there: the two blocks above the summon block must be free.
- Level or cooldown messages: see Oracles and
Rune Guardians. Admins can clear cooldowns with
/mine resetcooldowns <player>.
Oracle bosses are weaker or stronger than the docs say
Your modules/oracle/config.yml was generated by an older version and keeps its old values. Compare
it with the defaults on the Oracles page and update it by hand.
The same applies to any module file after an update.
A menu says "no permission"
A gate under GUIPermissions in config.yml is enabled for that menu and the player doesn't have
its permission. See Commands & Permissions.
Placeholders show Loading...
The player is offline or their data is still loading. BusyMining placeholders only work for online players. See PlaceholderAPI.
New custom items don't stack with old ones
You changed a name, lore or material in items.yml. Items made before and after the change are
different items to Minecraft. Change them back, or let the old ones get used up.
Still stuck
