Minions
Minions
The minion module. A small armour stand that mines nearby ores on its own and
stores what it collects. Config file: modules/minion/config.yml.
Getting and placing one
Players buy a Mining Minion in the Zeta Shop for 5,000 Zeta. Admins
can hand them out with /mine give minion or /mine minion give [player].
Right-click a block with the minion item to place it there. Each player can own up to
MaxMinionsPerPlayer.
What it does
Every MinionMineSpeed ticks, the minion picks a random block with ORE in its name within
MinionRadius blocks of itself, removes it, and adds its normal drops to its storage. It keeps
working while its chunk is loaded, whether or not the owner is online. It does not give its owner
XP, Zeta or BusyMining drops.
Managing it
Right-click the minion, or stand within 10 blocks and run /mine minion, to open its menu:
- Stats: blocks mined and owner.
- Collect: move everything in storage to your inventory (overflow drops at your feet).
- Remove: pick the minion up, with its storage, and get the minion item back.
Only the owner can open a minion. Players with busymining.admin can open anyone's.

⚠️ Minions ignore protected areas
Minions remove blocks directly and don't fire block-break events, so claim and region plugins don't see what they mine. Only let players place minions where they're allowed to build.
Minions placed with older versions, before the per-player count existed, aren't counted toward the limit.
