Refinery
Refinery
The refinery module covers two separate things:
- The physical Refinery, a small structure players build, which processes Mysterious Dust, turns Rune Dust into runes, and crafts Vessels.
- The Mining Tome menu (
/mine refinery), which turns an artifact, a gemstone and Rune Dust into a mining enchantment tome.
Config file: modules/refinery/config.yml.
Building a Refinery
Place a dropper facing up and put any fence on top of it. Load the dropper, then right-click the fence. Each click processes one thing, and results pop out on top of the fence. If the dropper faces any other way, the player is told to turn it.
If the dropper holds any fossils, the click is a Vessel craft (see below). Otherwise the refinery takes the first usable stack in the dropper, in slot order:
- Mysterious Dust: one dust is used and rolls its drops.
- Rune Dust: a stack with at least
RuneSynthesisCostdust becomes a rune (rune synthesis).
Mysterious Dust
Refinery:
Chances:
RuneDust: 75.0
Oracleite: 4.0
AncientRelic: 7.0
ShatteredOrb: 10.0
MinimumLevel:
Oracleite: 20
AncientRelic: 25
ShatteredOrb: 30
Each drop rolls its own percent chance, so one dust can give several items or nothing. The rarer drops need a mining level: Uncharged Oracleite at 20+, Ancient Relic at 25+, Shattered Requium Orb at 30+. Oracleite also needs the Oracle module enabled.
Mysterious Dust itself drops from ores (1% by default, Settings.MysteriousDustChance in
modules/core/config.yml).
Rune synthesis
RuneSynthesis: true
RuneSynthesisCost: 10
RuneSynthesisCost Rune Dust from one stack becomes a random
rune of any type, including Ghost. Set RuneSynthesis: false to make Rune Guardians the only
source of runes.
Crafting Vessels
Put all eight fossil parts of one Vessel in the dropper and right-click the fence. The player
needs that Vessel's required mining level and pays its Zeta cost (both in
modules/vessel/config.yml). The fossils are used up and the Vessel drops on top. If the dropper
holds fossils but no complete set, the player is told the recipe is invalid. See
Vessels.
Mining Tomes
/mine refinery opens a menu with three input slots: an artifact, a gemstone and Rune
Dust. Clicking Refine! uses:
- one opened (unidentified) artifact; a sealed one must be right-clicked first,
- one examined gemstone,
- 10 Rune Dust,
and gives a random mining enchantment tome. Its level:
| Ingredient | Effect on level |
|---|---|
| Base | 1 |
| Pristine gemstone | Level 2 instead of 1 |
| Legendary or Mythic artifact | +1 |
| Celestial or Divine artifact | +2 |
The result is capped at the enchantment's max level. Items left in the input slots are returned when the menu closes. The menu needs the enchantment module enabled.
Refinery.Enabled in the config is not read in this version. Use modules.refinery in
config.yml to turn the module off.
