Passive Upgrades
Passive Upgrades
The passive module. Five always-on mining upgrades bought with Zeta. Open it
with /mine upgrades, /upgrades, or the Passive Upgrades button in the main menu.
| Upgrade | Price per level | Effect per level |
|---|---|---|
| Efficiency | 1,000 Zeta | Haste while mining: Haste I at level 1, Haste II at level 2, and so on (5 seconds, refreshed on every block) |
| Fortune | 2,000 Zeta | +5% chance that a block mined with a pickaxe (no Silk Touch) drops its items a second time |
| Zeta Greed | 1,500 Zeta | +10% Zeta from ores |
| Archaeologist | 2,500 Zeta | +0.2% artifact drop chance |
| Overclocked | 3,000 Zeta | -5% artifact identification time |
Every level costs the same, and the Singularity's Cost Reduction perk lowers the price. Levels have no cap. The Singularity's Haste Master perk (Haste III) replaces Efficiency while it's active.
Fortune's second set of drops is rolled with the pickaxe, so the Fortune enchantment applies to it.
Its "Double Drop!" notice shows on the action bar by default. Move it to chat or turn it off with
Settings.Other.DoubleDropNotify in modules/core/config.yml (ACTIONBAR, CHAT or NONE); the
text is DoubleDrop in modules/core/messages.yml.
Archaeologist and Overclocked here are separate from the Artifact Identifier upgrades of the same names. Both stack.
Prices, effects and caps are set in code in this version. The SkillTree keys in
modules/passive/config.yml are not read.
