64 | Crafted (recipe below). |
| Legendary Dreamlight Fishing Rod | ddv_fishing:legendary_fishing_rod |
64 | Granted once at 100% journal completion. No recipe. |
Both are animated GeckoLib rods that fish exactly like a vanilla rod, and both sit under Tools & Utilities in the creative menu. The Legendary rod is a reskin of the Dreamlight rod with its own model; it plays the same way.
Neither rod is required. A vanilla rod fishes ripples just the same, and so do most modded rods. See Modded Fishing Rods.

Lucky Bait
| Item | Id | Stack size | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lucky Bait | ddv_fishing:lucky_bait |
16 | Granted once at 75% journal completion. No recipe. |
Right-click to use it. Your next landed catch is guaranteed to be a Perfect Catch. The bait is only spent when a fish is actually landed, so a snapped line or an escaped fish doesn't waste it, and it survives logging out.
The effect doesn't stack. Using a second Lucky Bait before you land a fish uses up the item but still gives you only one guaranteed Perfect Catch.
