Installation Guide

Learn how to properly install Dreamlight Fishing on your client and server.

Requirements

Before installing, ensure your environment meets the following requirements:

  • Mod Loader: Fabric
  • Java Version: Java 21
  • Minecraft Version: 1.21.1 through 1.21.11
  • Dependency: Fabric API

Setup Instructions

💻 Client Installation

  1. Download the correct .jar file for your Minecraft version.
  2. Ensure you have the corresponding Fabric API in your mods folder.
  3. Place ddv_fishing.jar into your .minecraft/mods directory.
  4. Launch the game using the Fabric profile.

🖥️ Server Installation

  1. Place the .jar file and Fabric API into your server's mods folder.
  2. Restart the server.
  3. The mod will automatically generate a configuration file at config/dreamlight_fishing.json.
WARNING

Version Matching: Builds are built for specific Minecraft versions. A jar built for 1.21.11 will NOT work on 1.21.1. Always download the exact version for your game.
