EssentialsX
With EssentialsX installed, BusyHub can send players to Essentials warps from anything that runs actions — compass menu items, portals, and launch pads. EssentialsX is optional: without it, everything else in BusyHub works the same.
Setup
There is nothing to enable. BusyHub looks for a plugin named Essentials each time a [WARP]
action runs.
- Install EssentialsX and create a warp as usual:
/setwarp parkour. - Use the warp name in a
[WARP]action.
In a menu file:
yaml
items:
parkour:
slot: 15
material: FEATHER
name: "&e&lParkour"
lore:
- "&7Click to warp to Parkour"
actions:
- "[WARP] parkour"
close-on-click: true
On a portal or launch pad:
/busyhub portal addaction [WARP] parkour
/busyhub pad addaction [WARP] parkour
See Menus & Actions for the rest of the action syntax.
How it behaves
- BusyHub reads the warp's location straight from Essentials and teleports the player itself.
It does not run
/warpas the player. - Because of that, players need no
essentials.warppermission, and Essentials' teleport delay and cooldown don't apply. - Warp names are matched by Essentials, the same way
/warp <name>matches them.
Compatibility
| Server | What to install |
|---|---|
| Paper | EssentialsX |
| Folia | A Folia fork such as Essentials-Folia. It keeps the Essentials plugin name and API, so BusyHub picks it up with no extra setup. |
Troubleshooting
A [WARP] action that can't run does nothing for the player and logs one of these warnings
to console:
| Console warning | Cause |
|---|---|
EssentialsX is not installed. |
No enabled plugin named Essentials on the server. |
no Essentials warp named '<name>'. |
The warp doesn't exist, or its world isn't loaded. Check /warp for the exact name. |
no warp name specified. |
The action is just [WARP] with nothing after it. |
