Requirements

Obfeco is designed to be lightweight and modern, but it does have some minimum requirements to run correctly.

Minimum Requirements

• Minecraft Version: 1.17+
• Java Version: 16+ (17+ is highly recommended)
• RAM: At least 100MB of free RAM (the plugin itself is very light)
• Disk Space: Depends on the number of players and currencies, but 50MB is usually sufficient for SQLite.

Supported Server Software

Obfeco is tested and officially supports:

• PaperMC (Highly Recommended)
• SpigotMC
• Folia (Multi-threaded support is built-in)
• Pufferfish / Purpur

Essential Dependencies

While Obfeco is standalone, many server setups will require:

• Vault: Required if you want other plugins (like ChestShop, Essentials, etc.) to use Obfeco's primary currency.
• A Permissions Plugin: Such as LuckPerms to manage who can use which commands.

Recommended Integrations

• PlaceholderAPI: For displaying balances in chat, tab lists, and scoreboards.
