Commands & Permissions

Everything runs under one root command, /obfeco, with subcommands. The root command needs obfeco.use, which every player has by default. Each subcommand then checks its own node.

Aliases: /eco, /economy — both equivalent to /obfeco.

Running /obfeco on its own lists only the subcommands you have permission for.

Player commands

Command Description Permission Default
/obfeco balance Your balance in the primary currency obfeco.balance op
/obfeco balance <currency> Your balance in a currency obfeco.balance op
/obfeco balance <player> <currency> Another player's balance (online or offline) obfeco.balance + obfeco.balance.others op
/obfeco pay <player> <currency> <amount> Send currency to an online player obfeco.pay op
/obfeco top <currency> [page] Leaderboard for a currency obfeco.top op

balance also answers to /obfeco bal.

The player commands default to op, so grant them to your default group if players should use them. pay only works from in-game, can't target yourself, and fails if you don't have enough.

top opens the leaderboard menu for players who also have obfeco.top.gui, and prints a chat list (10 per page) for everyone else, including the console.

Admin commands

Command Description Permission Default
/obfeco give <player> <currency> <amount> [-s] Add to a player's balance obfeco.give op
/obfeco take <player> <currency> <amount> [-s] Remove from a player's balance obfeco.take op
/obfeco set <player> <currency> <amount> [-s] Set a player's balance (0 or more) obfeco.set op
/obfeco create <id> <name> [start] [decimals] [category] [subcategory] Create a currency obfeco.create op
/obfeco delete <currency> confirm Delete a currency and every balance in it obfeco.delete op
/obfeco reset <currency> confirm Wipe every player's balance in a currency obfeco.reset op
/obfeco manage Open the Currency Manager GUI obfeco.gui op
/obfeco scan coinsengine [debug] List CoinsEngine currencies that can be migrated obfeco.admin op
/obfeco convert coinsengine [debug] Migrate CoinsEngine currencies and balances obfeco.convert op
/obfeco reload Reload config, messages, categories and currency files obfeco.reload op

Aliases: manage is also /obfeco gui, and convert is also /obfeco migrate.

Notes on the admin commands

  • give, take, set work on offline players. take fails rather than going below zero. Add -s as the last argument to skip the target's "you received / you lost" message; the flag needs obfeco.silent and is ignored without it.
  • create: the id is lowercased, must be 64 characters or fewer, and can't contain a dot. name is a single word (use the editor GUI for names with spaces or colors). start defaults to 0, decimals is true or false (default true). category and subcategory must already exist in categories.yml.
  • delete without confirm only prints a warning. The primary Vault currency can't be deleted.
  • reset without confirm only prints a warning. The currency itself stays; every stored balance in it is removed.
  • reload keeps cached balances and unsaved changes. Storage type changes need a restart.
